Are
you 21 to 40? If you are, and would like to...
- Meet new people
- Have Fun
- Serve your Community
- Gain leadership skills
...you
should consider joining the Lansing Jaycees! The Lansing Jaycees
(Junior Chamber) is an organization
for young people age 21-40. Through serving
our community, Lansing Jaycees have the opportunity to gain leadership
experience, meet new
people, make business contacts and have fun together!
"Leadership
Training through Community Involvement" is the Jaycee concept.
Through organizing
a variety of projects, our members gain leadership skills.
Most
of our projects fall into three categories- Management Development,
Community Development, and Individual Development. These areas reflect
the balance between the member, chapter, and community
that allows us to be effective in our work.
Individual Development is about improving the individual
skill level of the member; Management Development
focuses on improving our leadership skills, operating our chapter,
and promoting its goals; Community Development
is the end result of all of our
efforts- to help others and improve Lansing.
Getting
involved in the Lansing Jaycees is easy. If you would like to learn

Over
the years, it's been observed that "Jaycees do business with
Jaycees." Several of our members own their own business or
are sales representatives for their employers.
